Baja Rovers?

Anybody run across this crew?
http://www.bajarovers.org/

Their vehicles looked pretty tricked out with all the most expensive cool gadgets

The land rovers look prettier than all those tacomas y'all favor, eh?

They might let a Toyota tag along on their fun, if you wash the dishes.

Woke!

Yes, a Baja Rover member attended the 2013 Baja Pole Line Run. His Discovery was very well set up with an overhead roof tent. Real nice vehicle for not a lot of money.

these guys know how to rough it!...wait till you see the new ride!

I always travel off-road with helicopter support. Best way to get fresh cappuccinos, bread and veggies from town. And vanity requires my every move be video-ed.

P.s. Helicopter is cheap, as you won't need an expensive yeti cooler as your meals are all take-out delivered by helo.

The Baja Rover guys are down-to-earth. No helicopter support like BJ BALDWIN videos.

Most of Their photos (FB and website) show they travel w/ helicopter.

Surprisingly they do! But, who 'wheels on 3 wheels in Mission Santa Maria? Those trucks must be overloaded with too much overlanding gear for their own good. Also look at the trailer flipped on its side.

Ken,
Reviewing their FB page, it looks like they did their mikes sky ranch and SPM leg with a caterer from One of the fu fu restaurants in valle de Guadalupe,... living high! You got to step up your game for the poke line run, people are wanting fine liquor and haute cuisine!

Hey Willard! Bite me! You wanker!

These catered trips cost people in the upper three digit to low four digits for copters and meals. The Pole Line Run is free, and our group stops at Asadero Morln, Progreso for our first days meals - Lunch and Dinner. Mine and my wifes leftovers for the next two days will go into my fridge-freezer - just like the overlander guys.
