anyone have a long block shipped down here???who did you use?

I had a jeep 4.0L long block shipped down to San Jose Oct 2015, $200.
I do quite a bit of business with ACV and asked for a favor also, it would have been $425 using my basic rate.
I also ordered from the remanfacturer a plastic shipping case, $75 dollars refundable in the USA, I still have it, I recommend one if shipping without a pan or valve cover.
I also received another $200-$250 off from the manufacturer for turning down the factory guarantees, I took a gamble and knew I was going to spend another $500-$750 to ship up and back if there was an issue, the years up and engine is still running great.
I would call around for prices, if possible have it driven down to Tijuana and ship from there, much cheaper.

I threw one in the back of a pick up...

crossed at otay...paid 16% tax...and drove it down

no need for an importer
