We were just in this area and saw many large shrimp boats working this area using their nets all night long . I think this is the bigger problem not the small boats .

Also saw in the article that there was a lot of money put out for these small fisherman groups to not fish in these waters .

One wonders how much was handed out .

As long as the shrimpers are there, the VAQUITA doesn't stand a chance.............absolute killing fields when then shrimpers arrive and the government lets it happen
