U.S. Bank Problems in Mexico?

I read on the Wall Street Journal that US Bank has closed checking accounts for customers living in Mexico. One lady here in Punta Banda said USBank closed her account a month ago and she is unable to get funds for a month. Anyone else had problems with their bank. I have Bank of America and so far no problems. It seems to be that if the bank is not considered an international bank that they are closing the accounts.
