Good for you guys Cynda
Glad to hear you guys are heading south although, sorry you can't make it a little farther.
Hola to Lance and hope all's well in the mountains.
Depending on the wind, Punta Baja/ Agua Blanca can be a good place to get fish and stuff.
The area around Punta San Carlos has some pretty neat scenery and friendly fishermen as well as a windsurfing camp.
Enjoy mi Amiga y hasta luego.

Gee... a loaded question!
Side trips between El Rosario and Gonzaga Bay (see my GPS web page to find these places):
Las Pintas Fossil Grotto
Mision San Fernando (and petroglyphs, 1 mile beyond)
El Marmol onyx mine (and El Vocan onyx geyser and springs, 4 miles beyond)
Near Catavina (2 mi. north of) is the painted cave. Also, Rancho Santa Ynez, a mile past Catavina for food and camping.
Coco's Corner http://vivabaja.com/coco
Green Pools and Turquoise Mine http://vivabaja.com/wayno
Anyway, that's a sampling! See photos of these sites by using my Index: http://community-2.webtv.net/drdrip/index

Get a copy of The Baja Adventure Book by Peterson. It's great on sidetrips of all kinds.

fluently? You must be taking a break from your bamboo gerbil tube carving to "bone up" on the language of the land that you have resided in for the
last ten years! My hat, were I to wear one, would you off to you - me ah mee go!! :moon::moon:
