Latest Road Conditions Heading South
Heading south from TJ to San Ignacio lagoon next week.
Toll road open and passable now? Protest issues/roadblocks still problematic?
We'll be towing a 17' travel trailer. Appreciate any info 🤠

Just returned to Ensenada from Guerrero Negro. No problems, plenty of gas at PEMEX stations, no protests. Roads are the usual conditions (potholes).
Some construction in the Santo Tomas valley, good detours. Military checkpoints, no problems......watch for cows. Toll road in great condition

Thx so much for the info. I'd read some earlier posts and wanted more current info.
I remember the potholes from BOLA turnoff to GN, guess that hasn't changed. 🤠
Looking forward to another great Baja trip!!!

We did this yesterday. We headed towards Tecate @ Ensenada. No issues. All Pemex stations were open as far as we could tell and we got diesel
whenever they had a sign posted with no shortages.
Potholes? Oh yeah. It's like wacky-a-mole (or whatever that game is). Parts are great, other parts are so bad you wonder what's going on with
fixing the road.

The pot holes between Laguna Chapala and the state border (Eagle Monument) were almost as bad as the highway was in the 1980s.
If it is a FEDERAL highway, why is one state (Baja California) not getting funding or repairs done while the other (Baja California Sur) has no pot
holes???

Thx again for all the info. Rough road will not deter our willingness to get to see
the whales again!! 🐋🐋

Just got back yesterday, road as described, rougher in the aforementioned areas.
Hit a couple of craters as expected, no issues.
One single vehicle rollover north of GN and one head on big rig vs SUV and small pickup, south of Santo Thomas. Sad to see.
Desert was green, beautiful and green.
No gas issues, everyone open, availability great, price averages 3.00 per gallon green
