DIY car wash in Tecate???

The kind you put coins in with a high pressure hose? Does it exist, or just the full service type such as Titanic?

The young guys who run car washes in every town are inexpensive and pretty good... just isn't always fast.

The mobile detailers that come to your location generally charge $7.00 to $12.00 for detailing your entire car.

The US coin op washes generally end up costing about $4.00 as you feed $ for wash time.

The car washes that work in Tecate (full service) cost about $200 pesos. Plus they wash the underside of your car with a pressure washer.

Thanks for the info guys...Good tips. Been looking for a coin-op the last several weeks in Baja, and haven't seen one. Mainly just confirming. Google shows one called tintic near the line up for the Tecate crossing. I'll try that. No GPS points needed.
Thanks again, Mick

The Tecate full-service car wash is located about ½ mile West of the Tecate park (the one you come to when you enter Tecate from the USA). Make a right at that traffic light. you will see it on the right hand side.

I don't remember if the sign says "car wash".

So, on the free road to Tijuana, near the brewery, perhaps?
Thank you.
