Las Blancas Arch

To find the arch drive from Hwy 5 Km60 at 30 29.42825, -114 40.03143 up Matomi for 12 miles then bear left at 30-29.697, -114-49.969 to enter Canelo valley. (Name means Cinnamon). Drive up Arroyo Los Blancas into the "Canelo Preserve” valley and drive 9.23 miles to the arch at 30 27.629,-114 55.548 while always keeping right at each “Y”
The next Arroyo south of Matomi is actually a huge drainage named Canelo.

Hey Paul,

I built this quick map for David K to the arch - feel free to download the gps file from the dot menu, upper left. Solid lines are where the road is clearly visible, and dots are where the road runs thru a wash (approx. location). Obviously, boots-on-ground with eyeballs can select the best route.

Thanks guys!
Not sure I will go this trip, but it is so intriguing a feature. Reminds me of the time portal on Star Trek!
Will be in Mexico in a few minutes.
See you later!
