What are you seeking?

I was as far south as Villa Jesus Maria a couple weeks ago.
Pot holes frequent northbound beginning at L.A. Bay jcn to Laguna Chapala.

Many that were between Chapala and CataviƱa 2 months ago have been patched. Still some random ones to El Rosario and even around San Quintin, now.

Drove it yesterday. Pretty much as David described. Not great but most of them are "missable".
As another note, drove from Chapala to San Felipe also and the dirt section was in great shape. Made it in one hour without really trying. There were no really slow rocky sections and a light rain the day before softened the washboard.
Can't see it being finished by Dec. however.

Living Large in Loreto. Off-grid and happy.

How were the free clams? If you lose track of what day it is, you can always tell the day by what snacks they are serving.
Monday GRINGO TACOS
Tuesday CEVICHE/SUSHI
Wednesday BAKED CLAMS
Thursday TORTILLA PIZZA
Friday CHICKEN WINGS
Saturday 2 for 1 SUSHI
