Bob Steinberger, "The Weatherman" radio...

I just saw this on Race Dezert, sad news:

Just got an email from Parker 4 Wheelers: "Letting you all know that long time club member "the Weatherman" Bob Steinberger has passed away this morning."

RIP Bob

Here is the thread: http://www.race-dezert.com/forum/threads/bob-the-weatherman-...

Wow that is sad news. SCORE races will never be the same without his colorfull commentary.

RIP Bob.

Awesome guy! I bought my first race radio from him in '89. Went to his last wedding at the Desert Bar. Well crap ...

RIP, Weatherman. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, and only knew him through Dust To Glory.

Cameron Steele officiated the wedding from a SCORE notebook?

Yes, his notes were hiding in a SCORE Rule Book.

I had no idea Cameron could perform weddings, especially for Bob!
I just sent a note of condolences to Cameron upon learning this as we have been exchanging many emails and texts for the upcoming 2017 Trail of Missions tour. Thanks Jim!
