Is it still open? In Ensenada, south of the Sardine Plant...and Ostione? Still there?

Haliotis is one of the few "high-end" Ensenada seafood restaurants of the same era as La Cueva de los Tigres that is still open.

Turn left at the PEMEX. Las Palmas hotel on right. Go past hospital on right, I think that is a stop sign, go thru light at hwy 1 restaurant on left about 1000 yards.

Jizzybreatho....Dang That's the place I was talking about...We are putting together a Nostalgia trip, and its hard to find many of the old stops left....and even harder to find the old friends...

Long gone. I used to go there in the late 80s. good food.

Seem to remember it as an out of the way place where the local businessmen would take their much younger side girl for lunch.
