The Baja ZEPHYR

anyone heard the Baja train whistle lately? Years ago there was a trucker(or 's') running up and down Hwy 1 with a train air horn, quite the conversation piece on the beach as there ain't a train anywhere near the whole peninsula... wondering if he/she/it's still running on time (Mexican Standard Time) or not. Always got quite a kick out of it, but lost track (a PUN!) of it when I moved up to San Lucitas. Come to think of it, I've heard truckers play "La Cucaracha" on their jake-brakes too. Been told some have timed blasts of 'codes' to say hello to passing friends or relatives/gf's when they blast by. Quite the sub-culture, always had my respect.

I don't have a BUCKET LIST, but I do have a F***- IT LIST a mile long!
