Los Corrales/Pta. San Juan Bautista/El Barril area

What'cha all know about this area. My Baja fever is starting to rise ... I'm due to cross the border in 4 weeks. I'm trying to avoid the Easter crowds and some friends suggested this area. What can I expect? How is the fishing? I would really like to explore inland. What can I do? Flowers! I want flowers!

If you want flowers you're about 2 weeks late! The desert was awash in flowers around the start of the month but they are starting to disappear now. As to the Gulf fishing, as of today the north winds are still blowing but should die down in the next week or so. There are a lot of RV's pulling boats on the road right now so, unless you're planning on boondocking, I hope you have reservations for wherever you're going.
