Hotels in La Paz

Hi all

We're doing a 4-day stay in La Paz on Easter week after doing the camping thing up north. Would like to find a nice, comfortable hotel with a nice pool to relax at after "roughing it" up north. I was thinking Los Arcos Hotel or El Moro Hotel. What do you think of these? Any other suggestions? I would like to stay in town - not in the resorts outside of town.

Thanks

Monique

los arcos

If you stay at the los arcos request the bougainvillea room. It has a 4X king size bed with a jacuzzi in the room and it all over looks the malecon. It's one fun room thats for sure. fishin rich

Although my personal favorite is Los Arcos, and even though a little noisy on the w/e, we enjoy sitting on the patio over looking the malecon and water beyond....just be sure you are in your room to see some of the best sunsets ever witnessed. Now, with that conveyed we have also stayed at the La Perla and enjoyed it as well. At Los Arcos, when were were there a few weeks back, the pool was sooo very warm.
If you are really going to splurge, get a massage. Wife and I both had one and considered it one of the best we have had. ... and no matter where you stay have dinner at least one night at the resturant.

Just spent night before last in the Los Arcos cabanas. Always a good call.
Easter might be a tough call. If you need phone numbers etc. Let me know.

got reservations

Thanks all for your advice. I just got a confirmation that I have one of the cabanas at Los Arcos. I am sooo looking forward to this trip. I hear Easter week is full of festivities in La Paz, so that should also be fun.
