Fear monger? Hate posts like this? Seriously? Please accept my apology for offending you with my opinion and input.

It's up to each individual to ignore or comply, and simply discussing the merits of returning the FMM or not could be interpreted as a debate and very well may save a hassle for someone in the future.

That is wierd :?:

Ged, 20 years ago and after a failed attempt to get my passport stamped upon entering the U.S. from Baja, I realized the only way I could prove to ICBC that I was out of their jurisdiction for a length of time was to photocopy my passport dated FMM stamps, E (Entrada) and S (Salida). Never been questioned by ICBC about the dates. The many rebate cheques from them for 5 months out of country were nice to get.

Mainland Mexico, I photocopied my TVIP return documents.

Funny. You guys all pass though 1000's of times (hmmmm) and violate the law...there fore recommend others do the same...

I used to do the same all though not 100's of times...did not have enough gas to do so, but... do not as I did... review the law and do what ever you what to risk.

KK,
Yes....will get the Mexican form validated next time :)

Two years ago I used my Ensenada Costco receipts for ICBC and they accepted it for the refund....this year I am using Yuma gas receipts with "my story" for the explanation.
