Hola, amigos... como estan? Hace frio hoy, no?

(just brushing up on my espanol etiquette..now down to business)

Does this place (Campo El Pescador) appear on the old auto club map (see:link) by another name?

Might get down this weekend & I'd like to find the place...

No, I think it is between Playa Blanca and Punta San Felipe, on that older map at Baja-Web. Yankeeirishman can confirm...

The Baja Guru is correct.

Hey....as you are heading to town, you'll see the sign El Pescador hangin by the highway right before the first mountain pass. This has to be the cleanest, most peaceful camp spot in San Felipe.

I think that's the place we stayed in during last years Festival de Camarones (Welcome, Shrimps!) and it was very clean and quiet. Pretty nice beach too if I remember correctly.

neilmac..
David K has warned you! SF 250 is happening. The camp fee may be a bit higher during the race fest. The water source is; look for the building near the beach (there's only one!), stand in front of it, look to the rear right corner. A good camp spot is; follow the dirt road to the beach (it's hardpan) turn right along the cliffs, you'll see it! Have fun, take home your trash.Give us a update on your stay there.
