Road to Evaristo

We'll be headed down to Pta. Evaristo in a month or so and wondered if anybody had taken the road in from Las Pocitas lately?
Also is there any word on the road south from Bahia de Los Angeles to Pta. San Fransisquito?

Thanks
Don

Evaristo Roads

Road from San Juan de la Costa recently graded...good shape to Evaristo, . Can't find out about over the hill down to Evaristo via Las Positas. Was up at La Presa via Las Pocitas coupla weeks ago, roads were fine. The worst part would be down to Evaristo, but no info yet.

Yeh, and as I recall from a couple of years ago when we were there last, that last part was the roughest... I think we went up a wash and then through the bosque.
Thanks for the info.

Up from Evaristo

Just talked to a Mexican friend who assured me that the road up from Evaristo to the Bosques is open. There will be a Mexican off-road race (Dos Mares) over this road in early April. He is an off-road racer so take that as the source.

thanks!

Thanks for the info. We'll be headed down in late April. Hope the racers haven't destroyed what's left of the road.;)
I think what we'll do is go north from La Paz and plan on going out thru the bosques. That way if we get turned around we won't have to backtrack too far.
