Some sea turtle pics

They were laying in October and hatching around Thanksgiving time. I personally have never seen then laying or hatching before, so, thought it was pretty cool.
This is just South of Santa Maria.
Have lots of great video, but not how Would post it.

Wild to see the turtles have expanded into the San Felipe region. Someone at Bahía Santa María posted photos last year, so it wasn't a fluke. Having camped in the region since the mid 1960s, this is a first.

As for videos, is it on YouTube?

Have not put them on you tube, but could.
Was pretty cool to see one come out of water, lay her eggs and return to the sea. Was cooler yet to see the little turtles climb out of the sand (which I have a cool video of) and make their way to sea to swim away.

Yay turtle.
When I am out fishing I sometime see a turtle way offshore.
It is a true marvel to see them like that. What an amazing planet we live on.
Does anyone know how far north turtles nest on the Pacific side?
I want to be careful not to run over one of the cute little critters.
