San Felipe 250 Race

We survived Semana Santa in San Felipe and the circus that is the 250 off-road race came to town the next week. Our friends from the Bevly-Wilson team came back again this year and stayed next to us at our campground. Their #15 800 horsepower trophy truck is just slightly loud.

Unfortunately, they had mechanical trouble.

The fiesta on the malecon the day before the race is a ton of fun.

Race start and some of the trucks. It's very safe to watch the start as there are barriers and speed limit in town. Two people were killed by a truck this year out of town.

Thanks for the report and the videos. Too bad the Trophy Truck had problems. Interesting that they had the start on the Malecon.

Thanks, TMW. Hopefully, Bevly-Wilson has better luck in the Baja 500 next month. They started on the Malecon last year also but didn't come up the sand dunes for some reason this year.
