More beautiful Baja...

Just going through some old photos and thought I would share some...

Does anyone want to guess where?

The elephant tree here was only about 3 miles from the palms in the first photo.

I love white sand arroyos and beaches... I could camp there for days and just soak in the desert! This was about 6-7 miles from the elephant tree.

More to come, maybe?

Real nice. A good little boost.

Thank you amigos!

The three photos above were taken on the road to and beyond Mission Santa María, on our Nomad group trip of 2010.

As 'bobrehfuss' posted, we do not want to fight, we want to "Baja" (can we make that a new verb?)!

Here is the web page I made from that Nomad trip: http://vivabaja.com/msm2010/

Photo taken 10 miles from Rancho Santa Ynez/Hwy. 1 near Cataviña and 5 miles from the mission, at the peninsular divide. You can see the Gulf of California and Punta Final (Gonzaga Bay) in this photo:

Those last 5 miles to the mission from the peninsular divide are the toughest 5 miles in Baja, to some!

Made it!

Doesn't seem like 8 years since that trip. I would certainly like to go there again.

I look a little different these days than in that photo, there is about 70 lbs less of me. I'm still far from petite but health is better.
