La Paz Ferry

The ferry between La Paz and Mazatlán is currently out of service for an undisclosed amount of time due to maintenance. Service between La Paz and Topolobampo is still operating as usual.

I saw on the schedule that there are no reservations until Nov. 20.
Wasn't sure if it was sold out or what.

We have reservations on the Baja Ferries route to Mazatlan in early January. The ferry is supposed to be running again Nov. 20, but our contact in the office wasn't sure "which"ferry would be in operation. We'll know what that means in January. We have done the route in 3 different ferries in the last 10 years. some are fast, some are slow. Also, there IS a Baja Ferries ferry running from Mazatlan to La Paz and back at the present time. It definitely carries cargo. Obviously drivers would have to be accomodated. We didn't see passengers with luggage. This is first-hand knowledge as we were waiting for cargo from Mazatlan this week on TMC and saw the Baja Ferries arrive from Mazatlan. FYI

Ignore the news and sally forth. You will be able to get to the mainland from Santa Rosalita or La Paz - somehow.....sometime. This is Mexico expect stuff to be in a state of flux.....maybe.

Every beautiful beach in the world needs a few condo towers - NOT.
