Upgraded Tires for Subaru Forester
My friend is looking for new tires for her Subaru (17" stock rims) Forester and wanted something a little more "off roady" than the 225/60-17
currently in use.
I'm assuming a 70 series of some sort will gain a bit of clearance, but I'm not really familiar with small car tire size options.

I’m not super familiar with all the tire sizes but I know a few years back when I looked for all terrain tires for my crv they were hard to find.
Not many options in smaller sizes, but I really liked the Cooper discover ones I ended up with. No need for full on bfg at ko2’s if you are not
hitting rocks or going crazy. I really like my falken wildpeak at2 tires right now for strength running over cactus and glass and sharp volcanic rocks
and also a lot of street use, but I don’t know if they make smaller sizes. Also the Cooper discover and toyo tires are good mild at tires for mostly
street use.

My sister in law just got a used forester and it seemed to be a true all wheel drive car for the minute I drove it on a dirt road so there is no need
for a crazy aggressive tire if all four tires have power.

She lives in Baja, so having a bit more clearance is always a need. I doubt she's going to want to change rims, lift kit, etc. Just another crazy
gringa on the road.

Best place to ask this question is on one of the Subaru forums on internet.
Hard to fit a larger tire on a pax car, tight wheel well space, but most cars can usually plus-up 1 size

Where is she at? If she is near calafia or north I can meet up and check out the car and tell her how much bigger she can go. Send me a private
message with her number if she wants to meet. And also we are totally down to go San Pedro whenever you are.

Excellent idea, I'l check some out. Obviously this has been done before so there's probably lots of posts about it. Thank you!
