Southbound crossing
I am planning on crossing Southbound at San Ysidro on Friday morning.
Does anyone have first hand experience crossing in the last couple of days?
What about Northbound thru Tecate, anyone?

Tuesday
Southbound at San Ysidro, 1:15pm Tuesday
No problems or delays on the US side. Only 2 Aduana (Customs) people on the Mexican side, just watching traffic, not pulling anyone in. No traffic
delays, no traffic on Via Internacional

Depends on how early. If you cross at 6AM I doubt you'll have any traffic. Wait until 11AM, probably a different story.

Thanks for the replies.
My concern was with the "unrest" at the border.

Crossed chaparral this morning at about 9am, no line, no trouble. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Except for a very low flying helicopter over the northbound sentri lanes and lots of razor wire visible on the southbound side. Sad to see.

Today (Sunday) they closed the crossing in both directions due to migrants trying to storm the border seeking asylum.
Hopefully the Tecate crossing doesn't become slammed
