Chokis vs Chips Ahoy

While camping a few weeks ago with some Nomads, the Cookie Challenge was presented after dinner: Chokis versus the venerable Chips Ahoy.

Well, the outcome was unanimous ....Chokis had more chocolate and relevant "chocolaty notes", while Chips Ahoy were crunchier, but not much evidence of chocolate....

Now, some folks might hijack this thread with irrelevant comments about other dessert food items....ignore those spurious contributions and stick to the comparison....

Some agreed that it was neither gluttony or greed that has led people down the indulgent path of devouring a whole tube of Chokis by themselves....but simply the pleasure of the best chocolate chip cookie Baja has to (generally) offer.

Opinions will not be considered unless a Choki tube wrapper is included.....

....and references to following article may shed light on the matter....but won't be considered without personal taste testing evidence (sticky finger traces on keyboard, crumbs on you lap, etc)

Both are good and dunk in some milk quite well.
ChipsAhoy can be hand in "extra" chippiness" if required, but none in Baja.

Triki Trakies (sic)on the other hand are at the bottom of line.
Dunk deep in milk, let it absorb it, doable.

Why do all modern cookies have to be soft?
I do not understand the attraction of the "chewy" cookie. I never was a fan of the chip ahoy cookie but I will try these Chokis

They are similar to fresh baked cookies.

That is the theory but they are not the same at all.
I much prefer a cookie that stands up to a good dunking and snaps when you break it in half.
If the cookie bends , in the trash it goes.
I know I am in the minority on this issue.
