Back to Baja - Tecate - Valle De Guadalupe
The Bago is back in Baja. Easy crossing in Tecate. Minimal inspection and no wait. Driving our RV (56 feet total length towing our Jeep) can be a
little tricky in cities but we found Tecate to be not too bad. Here's a 40 second Instagram of the drive - https://www.instagram.com/p/Bsgdymtnz3Z/
We stayed at the Rancho Sordo Mundo RV park again for three nights and donated $30 US to the school. They are on Facebook now as Guadalupe RV Park -

We love this area. Great wine and food at reasonable prices. Friendly people.
Places visited:
Adobe Guadalupe.
Beautiful vineyard.
We enjoyed a nice meal from the food truck. Duck and ribeye sandwichs. Good wine and they made a nice pale ale also.
Decantos Vinicola
This is probably our favorite. Great views and wine. Really cool architecture.
Finca Altozano
Interesting open-air restaurant by the well know Chef Javier Plascencia. We split octopus, ceviche, and a dry-aged ribeye steak.
La cocina d marco
Best meal we had. Recommended by Luke at the RV park. Kind of a whole in the wall place with great food that Anthony Bourdain would have loved.
Quesadillas stuffed with shrimp, beef, chicken, and veggies.
Marco said (I think) that he was moving to a new location but you can find him on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/La-cocina-d-marco-619266154804962/
Sunday we packed up and headed south to San Quentin.

| The Chef has a new place in Todos Santos, Jazamango http://jazamango.com/ and working on a place in Cabo and another in San Diego. He's the best of the best.

Good tip from Luke. Locals only kinda spot with good food, service and local ambiance. Located in El Ejido Porvenir on Main Street, adjacent and
attached to the Mercado Six beer shop.
We eat there often as Marcos is married to my niece. Keep it $$ in the family. Such joy to watch the next generation makes their marks.
