Isuzu V-Cross, any info, opinion?

I have been thinking about replacing my Kia, and there is a V-Cross available locally. The guy wants a lot of cash for it because they are very rare, and he considers it a collectible!

To me, it will be a toy, and I will very likely thrash it just like I have my Kia's! Any one on this forum ever drive one off road, or know anyone who has one?

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

I'd be concerned about parts availability, didn't Isuzu exit the US market? My friend had a Trooper, seemed well built and simple to work on.

I had never heard of them till now. I did a little reading up on Expedition Portal and Pirate 4x4.

I´m impressed. They seem to be really good little offroad rigs. They share parts with the Trooper and Rodeo. I think they look pretty cool (especially the offroad builds).

I wouldn't buy ANYTHING you cant get parts for here in baja or isn't built anymore

the manufacturers don't have to maintain a supply

when it breaks you throw it away
