Mulege hotels y Semana Santa?

I'll be passing thru Mulege early next week, 3/22. Am I going to have a tough time finding a hotel room? I have stayed at Hotel Mulege the last few times I've been in town. Any thoughts and/or suggestions appreciated.

A lot of the crowds are camping at the beach but town can get packed too. My daughter's Mulege relatives own the Hacienda Hotel and also have really nice guest rooms with full baths that are separate from their main house at reasonable prices. The rooms face a private patio area and garden, it's a great setting in the heart of Mulege and one of the town's best taco shops is down the street.

I'd be happy to ask them about availability at either the hotel or guest rooms during Semana Santa if you'd like me to. Just let me know.

Hi
We were in Mulege a couple of weeks ago and spent 4 very comfy days at the small Hotel Cuesta Real (near La Serenidad on Mex 1) It is laid out like a motel so cars in view of rooms, very clean. laundry room, internet, restaurant, riverside location, pool. I think costs around $45 per night. Owned by ery welcoming Ken & wife. Tel: from US 01152 615 1530321

Thanks!

Thanks everyone for your input. I figured it might be tough to find a room. Lindsay...I'd be interested to hear if your freinds place is available. Bruce...how would I contact you once in town?

How about camping at the orchard? Likely to be full also?

Room Update

Hola again,
I talked to my daughter's aunt tonight and she said that on the 22nd, she may have a guest room available...she has some reservations but thinks that one night is OK. Her name is Nelly and her husband is Ciro Cuesta. As I posted before the rooms are on the side of the house opening onto a nice patio.

Nelly said that a room would be $35 a night and they are nice with double bed and bath inside the room. Thier house is directly across the street from the main yellow church in downtown Mulege. The front of the house has cave painting figures as advertising for Ciro's guide business. The street number is 27 Calle Rubio and the phone is 011-52--615-153-0481.

Depending on what time you get to Mulege, Nelly will be at home or in her store which is next to the video store in Mulege before you get to the corner by the laundry place.

If you check with them for rooms just let them know my name and that I called for you. It's a nice spot and I stay there when my daughter and I visit everyone.

Let me know if you have any questions and enjoy your trip :)
