Just returned from Gonzaga. No signs indicating a Campo Tortuga de Piedra.
Saw a fenced off compound just east of Campo Beluga with a large white gate and a few out buildings, that’s all

Thanks for the update... That compound was there in 2018 when I was last past Beluga, coming from Punta Final on the coast road.

There are several new places in that area, but they are not always open. That area does not get a lot of traffic and if the owners take a day off
then they just lock the gate or leave the place deserted. You just have to show up and see if anyone is around.

True that! El Sacrificio was locked up for New Years' weekend (2017) when I was doing the road guide research in that area. What should be a busy
business weekend for campos and motels... Their loss, I guess? Lots of campers at Punta Final.

Negative, this place is on FB as a new development in the making. Apparently there has been no movement or development.
Not a campground, they’re supposed to be selling lots for building.
I was curious because of the area, the way it’s been and now it’s future due to the easy road access to Gonzaga
I met another developer between El Sacrificio and Punta Final staking out boundaries and putting in a road to the beach.
El Sacrificio I’m told is rented to about 50 Mexican fishermen that pay for room and board while working the area.
No campers there while we were in the area.
