Algodones dentist
Does anyone know of a good dentist in Algodones? Or any good or bad experiences there?

I have used Mexican dentists in Puerto Penasco, Melaque, and La Paz, and have been pleased with the work, and the price.
I have never used any of the clinics in Algodones, but I drove through there, and there are lot of them! I have heard that it is the most economical
place to get work done because there is so much competition.
Another reason to shop for services there is because there are plenty of clinics within walking distance of parking on the US side of the border, if
you don't want to deal with insurance or other driving issues.
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

My late father who did not trust Mexicans (I am married to one) and generally did not like crossing the border had a dentist in Algodones and
absolutely loved the guy
Wish I could resurrect him just long enough to ask the name (The Old Man was pretty cranky, so one question would be enough) but not to be
Suffice to say, the quality of the work, the cost, the efficiency all met the standards of Pop, and those were really high
He and his dog would drive down from Thousand Palms on a regular basis to get treatment.

We have used Rubio Dental for teeth cleaning. Recommended to us by friends who had extensive work done there. Very professional.

Very likely.
Tijuana would be the 2nd cheapest, also due to competition, but more expensive because of more traffic and generally more expensive area.
Like somebody said, "happy ending is possible too".
I used a good dentist in Ensenada, excellent quality, not cheap by Mex standards, still way cheaper than in the US.
With complicated work like implant I would think not twice but trice before doing it in Mexico. Would try and research lower-cost options at home,
instead.

I have had two implants done in La Paz and plan on returning there soon for two more. No complications at all, and I wish I could tell you how much
it cost, but I did not track expenses much on those trips.

I need three root canals according to a dentist in my area [usa], but after doing research in my town they are all found to be notoriously
untrustworthy $$$. Sign of the times I guess, never used to be that way.

Huh??? At the dentist office?? Or in town in general?
On a different note, one of the best things about going to the dentist is the nitrous oxide but in Mexico to use it they have to have a licensed
Anesthesiologist on staff or bring one in. Bummer that
Although I guess, a happy ending would make going to the dentist better too.

My wife needed 2 implants, 2 root canals and 2 crowns. Cost after insurance $10,000. I contacted Jardines Dental and made the two day trip. Nice
night at the casino. Easy 5 min to the US parking lot, and about a 10 minute walk to the Mexico office. Took all day.
Returned 4 months later to set the implants teeth. Took about 2 hours.
So 2 round trips to the US / Indian Casino/border Cost $250.00
Dental visit cost $1800.
Total $2050 + or -
We have cleanings done in US, but the price and work at Jardines was great

If it is root canals that you need Dr Hernandez is the one to see. He's a very good endodontist with the latest equipment and an excellent staff. He
is a specialist and does not do cleanings and fillings. Excellent English.

For general dentistry Dr Pablo Luna is great. He's a perfectionist and a really nice guy. Excellent English.

Dentistry in Algodones is pretty much a cash business.
