FMM Stamp Requirement
I plan to enter the Tecate port of entry & have our FMMs stamped there. Since I will be driving into BCS, do I need to have the FMMs also stamped
at a bank in Guerro Negro? Thank you.

Nope, just the border is fine.

SFandH: Thank you for the response. The reason I asked was that years ago I remember having to stop at the bank in Guerrero Negro to have (what I
thought was) my FMM stamped. Can't imagine what else it might have been.

One needed to pay at a bank and if you crossed when the banks were closed, you could pay down the road at an open bank.
Since then, INM can now take the payment when you get the FMM, when the bank window is closed. Tecate has a bank kiosk just outside the building INM
is in.
You can also buy pre paid FMMs but must still stop at the border to get them stamped. So, no advantage doing that!

Yes, now I remember. The last time I crossed at Tecate the bank was indeed closed. That explains things. Thank you.
