vgabndo - My girlfriend says Mt. Shasta is bald this year... is that sctually correct? I don't believe I've ever seen her snowless. What are the lake and reservoir levels like?

All our local lakes are pretty much brimming. Shasta Lake, down in the lowlands is part of the great LALALAND water grab, so they pull it way down. I'd guess that it is still 70 to 100 feet below spill. We've got a BIG snowpack to melt off, and they have to have some place to put it.
