No big deal, but, at my Mac desktop in San Francisco I am on and off B Nomad with only one log in for months. Here in Palm Springs on my HP windows I
need to log in every time. Just wondering.

HP/ Windows here... Unless I log out, I never need to log in. Sometimes on my phone, I need to re-login... but not often.

It seems that I need to log in when I change between my large screen laptop that I use at home, and the smaller one that I travel with, but not every
time I go online here.
Wherever I am, the time stamp shows up as Pacific standard time if I am not logged in, and AK standard if I am!

The site identifies users through a cookie placed on the system the site is being accessed from. If the browser being used doesn't permanently store
the cookies from session to session, or if the user deletes cookies for one reason or another (routine maintenance, etc), then the site is unable to
identify the user(s).
I believe the cookies have a lifespan of 90 days. So it's possible to go 90 days without having to login again.

I did not know that "cookies" had a lifespan. I thought they were there until action was taken to delete them.

All my cookies do have a shelf life!!! Is that the same as a lifespan?

It's up to the programmer that bakes the cookie. They come in many flavors.

Cookies with raisins in them will last for months. Chocolate chip, it is a matter of hours!

It probably has something to do with your cookies setting in your browser, but you should probably think about using a password manager, like
LastPass, it's an app/browser extension that remembers all your passwords, so you just need to really remember one password.

Lastpass, what a good idea.
I had to logout while on my trip, then I updated to windows 10, then I had a temp. (I think) password given to me.
Can I get my old one back?

My desk top keeps me logged in all the time
Cannot remember the last time I had to re-enter my data
My 2 iPads and my iPhone kick out after one use
Frustrating, so usually just don't use the portable devices to make posts.

You can change your password anytime you'd like while logged into the site. The ability to do so is in the user control panel - on the profile page.
