"Nice rain" here in La Paz. Must be south of here.

Rain, yes but no high winds! Cabo always floods as does La Paz because they are below higher grounds. It rained yesterday after noon and all night here in EL Pescadero. Thunder claps and heavy spots of rain. Today was calm with storm clouds out over the Pacific. For the last few hours it's been dumpin!! On and off. Watch out if you dare travel. Beautiful rain! Nature is calling! Power is on! All is well!!

Jealous of you all. One of the things I miss living here in SoCal is all the summer and fall rain and thunderstorms.

Ciudad Constitución

received a good slug of rain yesterday and last n8ght. Driving in town this morning the streets are still flooded.

When asked of the locals is this rain a rare event, they said no. "It's a miracle."

Going to get green real quick and buggy too.

This rain had been predicted for several days in advance. A disorganized low that formed relatively close to Baja, but never could get formed into serious cyclonic formation. Still, it had its share of moisture; just not wind.

Loreto

Loreto Radio said 30mm (1 inch +) early this morning. Later more has fallen. Nice easy soaking in rain, lots of flooded streets, arroyos not running.
