Sunbelt Publications has been sold! UPDATE: NOT SOLD
The long time publisher of many Baja and Southwest books in El Cajon, CA has been sold to American Traveler Press of Phoenix, AZ.
Sunbelt is having a sale of inventory so go to their book warehouse for some bargains before they are gone at the end of March.
In addition being a publisher, Sunbelt is also a distributor of Southwest and Baja books published by other companies. This is the case with my book.
The word I got was that they will continue to be sold after operations move to Arizona.
For more details go to Sunbelt Publications on Facebook.

So, an entity is continuing to sell and print paper/hard cover books AND they are keeping a retail outlet open?
Okay...........
I still read an occasional legacy book, but the future is pretty clear.
Wonder what their thinking is? Did the sale to the Phoenix entity fall through?

There website still lists the lindsays as owners, so would appear the sale did not happen, eh?
Woke!
Hands off!

That is correct...
The owner, Diana Lindsay, said the deal fell through with the Covid-19 thing at the end of March. As of this afternoon, they will not be moving and
they are still owned by the same people.
Here is a local new article on the sale and move, since reversed:
