The paint is not an issue. The machine gun might be. Unimogs and Pinzgauers (thats the sp) are no military rigs at all. You can`t export a military
Unimog from Germany w/o an requested export license making sure you converted it to a civil version.

in rural cartel controlled areas in chihuahua and durango i have seen plenty being driven by civilians.

I would not want to be driving around in that area in a vehicle that is desirable to the cartel, or could be mistaken for one of theirs!

i imported a unimog 1300 [ german army] very easy, no such permitting needed that i remember. maybe the customs broker did it without my knowledge.
