A long time ago... 1966! An overnight cruise and yes, it transports cars and trucks.

I was only 8 or 9, so others with recent experience will give you more data.

Here's my dad and I before getting on the ferry to Mazatlan:

Yes and yes. I am booked on the ferry sept 23. Maz to la Paz. I have taken this route ir y vuelta many times. Nov.2019 was the last time. They have just finished the renovation of the Baja Star in Jan. 2020.Very nice ship. You can take your vehicle any size. They also offer salon, cabinas y suites for pasajeros. Food is ok not great. They also have a bar. I highly recommend it.

If you are driving down from the north, the terminal at Topolobampo is a much shorter drive, and a shorter water route as well.

I do not have any recent experience with Baja ferries, but that is the one I would check for schedules. It is near Los Mochis.

There is also a ferry route between Guaymas and Santa Rosalia, but i have never used it.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
