You might try calling a Notario for a suggestion since they often require valuations?

I believe that Ingeniero David Sandoval may be qualified to do that for you. He is a well respected engineer and citizen of Loreto.

I know you can find his number, he would be listed. His wife Sophia owns Canipole Restaurant. The restaurant phone is 613-135-1886.

Just an FYI when we had ours done last year it wasn't just an appraisal that was needed but a "Manifestacion" that included getting square with the municipality on the building permits etc.

Looking back maybe it was something unique to our sale since our casita was on leased land and held as personal property that we had to roll into the fidecomiso. The document was called REGULARIZACION DE CONSTRUCCIONES. Can't remember the exact cost. We did also pay for an appraisal and certificate of freedom of liens.
