Is there any info on where the course runs in case spectators wanted to watch it?

No. This is Dakar style Rally so the course is not revealed to the riders until the evening before the next day's stage. In the past the press and
spectators were provided with a few viewing options for each stage at the evening before.

well no doubt Larry but there's a lot of district racers that would love to get their feet wet in rally raid in baja in this 3 race format, obviously
its not everyone's cup of tea

Larry I'm with you. I'll pay for all of the beer and tacos. Looks like a good Rally.

For what they offer way over priced . If I need pay to go to school to ride off road. Then buy instruments to tell me where to go. What ever happened
to just ride ?

Rally is a very intense competitive game. Ride fast over a route and terrain you don't know while navigating from a roll chart and doing math
calculations at the same time.
The mental part can be more important then speed. Like playing chess while riding as fast as possible. Not for everyone but a challenge for those who
participate.

So......no speedo, huh?
What do you wear at the beach?
The techie riders often run into the guy in front of him while consulting their gps....
Useful but not necessary
My first years of riding in Baja were guided by the AAA map....and a sense of adventure....

I like to watch RR events....just do my own riding and don't have the need to compete at such a level.
Thanks for the link, though.

Thanks for this link. It got me looking and thinking, which Is sometimes a problem!
They have a UTV class also, I have a nicely set up Can Am. I've raced all kinds of stuff, but never rally.
My wife is about 80% on board with being my navigator!
Short trip up from our place in Punta Chivato.......Very hopeful to give this a go.
What could go wrong???? At 61(me) and 57(her) we could use a challenge.
Good test of the strength of our marriage, lol.
I like beer, better than most people.

nomads have no interest in entering a rally raid for that price. I watch the Dakar every year, but have not started to box up the bike yet.
