Familiar Moto Rides
Stumbled on to these vids I hadn't seen in a while . Some of the moto folk may recognize some of the trails .... like trying to get back up from
Santa Maria "lagoon"; Bill Nichols trail hills. San Quintin ...

Yep....Google is your friend....the YT side bars also lead to similar vids.
I recognize some of the routes, but the second vid link has some stuff that leaves me guessing. I have not explored any parts north of San Quintin or
San Felipe....as my focus has been BoLA and west/south down to Cabo.... but one coastal narrow/steep bad road (going east or south) might be between
Playa Tecolote to La Ventana ???? and is on the To-do list.
By the look of things, it may well be over a year before I think I will feel comfortable traveling through the States and
Mexico....so I am resigned to virtual Baja-ing. That sucks big time, but "it is what it is". So, I get to dig into the computer and watch my own go
pros that I had forgotten about....
Don't believe everything you think....

motoged. I'm with you, I've put Baja off for this year in hopes that things will recover and get a little better? The videos do help feed the need....
YETI has really good videos, I've watched almost all of them. I really enjoy the ranching stuff, my wife is from a 5 generation cattle family.

Nice videos.
The Skydio drone is going to change how we film riding in Baja forever.
There is a guy in Las Vegas that posts single track rides through the desert mountains outside of Vegas on YouTube all the time. I'll post a few
tomorrow.
You don't need to be a tech guru with these new drones and they are the same price as an entry level camera with halfway decent lenses.

Wow, they really are incredible. $1K seems quite reasonable considering the quality and technology.

Hey you guys, it's not so bad here. Folks are being careful for the most part. We are careful, no crowds or close encounters needed to ride here.
We were at a small rancho for a couple days, masks ok there, easy to do and shows some respect.
We head out to remote boonies in a couple days. No rodeos/cabalgatas this year for sure. Sorry Jed you can't get here, but I can't go to BC either!
Helped a BMW guy fix a fork seal last week.
Come down hwy 5, avoid the crowds on 1. Totally get your choice either way.

Howdy Al,
Yep....if I was there that's what I figured the drill would be....and is how I will be riding here in BC for probably the next year.
But..... as you point out, our borders are trying to keep the spread down....and with the new variants and vaccine issues, who knows when such a trip
will be prudent.
Once it's a go, Utah then Baja are what's up for me.
BC has lots of riding to keep me hurting...
