It’s gonna be funded by tolls. Toll rate changes based on demand. They will jack up the toll price to keep line wait under 20 minutes. So days where SY has 5 hour wait you can expect this new xing to charge 50 usd, perhaps more.

Pay for service. Dont expect your govt to provide equal service to all citizens.

Woke!

“...ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” “My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”

Prefered gender pronoun: the royal we

I love your wild presumption, that goes directly against what is stated in the article. "Rodríguez said the cost could vary depending on demand up to a maximum of $12 to $15 for vehicles and up to $20 or $25 for cargo trucks."

But hey.. let's post something that's total hyperbole, in direct contradiction to the information in the SOURCE, and that plays on peoples emotions and agenda.. ThE SkY Is FaLLiNg. ReEeEeEEEEEE.

I vaguely remember some saying about when you ASSuME things....

*smh*

I've been away from bajanomad for a bit.. and come back, and on day 1, I'm once again blown away at the level of frustration I get when im subjected to dumb tin-foil-hat posts from mtgoat666.

If I didn't have Sentri, I'd pay $50 in a heart beat to cross in 20 mins.

I don't know that I would pay $50, but I would certainly pay the stated $12-15 to avoid the three-hour waits I used to have in the Ready Lane.

But... overall, I am not a fan of the idea that wealthy(ier) people can always get their butts kissed along the way. Special HOV lanes, etc - just a way to build resentment. I know it is the reality of the world, but I am not sure it should be encourgaed.
