$19.90/L in Cabo at ARCO and $19.49 at COSTCO so no change here!

Prices are unchanged in Northern Baja. Also the peso has been strengthening against the dollar.

Baja Sur gets its fuel from the mainland! Incompetence in DC doesn't affect us! Also never saw anyone fill a plastic shopping bag with gas here!

How many pesos per dollar is posted there, or in general? If about 20:1, that makes gas about US$3.79/ gallon. 3.785 liters per gallon.... 20 pesos
per liter & 20 pesos per dollar... one dollar per liter.

Really various from station 19 generally I really never look since I use pesos exclusively living here at the HSBC atm at Los Pinos on Tuesday I got
19.83 and Schwab covers my fee so no-brainer to not use dollars

Understand. I also use pesos most of my travels. I was asking as a way to compare the cost to here in San Diego County. $3.65 to $4.29 at many
stations I have seen.

I don't really follow the price of gasoline on either side of the border. I'm going to fill up either way.

How is the federal government related to the recent spike in gasoline prices in the US?

They shut down the Keystone XL pipeline and put 16K out of work on his first day in office.
Overall, he is spending like a drunken sailor, creating a giant welfare state that will devalue the dollar and is creating inflation.

Really...you have no clue.
Three obvious reasons why gasoline prices are increasing...increased demand due to an improving economy, a switch to summer gasoline, and the
refineries being shut down due to weather.
A president has little impact on the price of gasoline...period!

Thanks for the explanation JZ, you'll excuse me for thinking the rise in prices was the result of a combination of seasonal changes, an improved
economy, and also a private company with poor cyber security getting hacked. Turns out it was government spending (which I wrongly thought was good
and helping the economy) and the shut down of an unfinished pipeline. Very illuminating stuff.
