Looking for a San Felipe Hotel
We are driving through and looking for a hotel in San Felipe
Safe, secure and clean. Safe parking, etc...
Just started driving Hwy 5 a couple years ago and trying to find a good spot to stay. Loved staying at Jardines on Hwy 1. Hopefully there is
something similar in San Felipe.
Alfonsinas is great in ways but not so great in others, so going to stay in San Felipe this time around.
Thank you for your help on this one!

2nd the Sandollar stayed there 5/25 heading north. Sea view, queen size bed 2 ppl, 1 dog although its not too dog friendly if that matters, $120. A
little high if you ask me but from I saw its probably one of the best options in town. I wouldn't stay in town, sorry but I'm not a fan of SF. They
lock the gate parking lot at 10:00pm. No restaurant on site is a draw back so you need to go to town.

Also Hotel San Borja, across the street from Kiki's and owned by him. Small, clean, with a pool. Easy walk to restaurants/Malecon.

Yes, Sand Dollar is south of the marina. Town and restaurants require a few minutes drive north.

Couple things. Not sure what not too dog friendly means. Never had a problem with one dog anywhere and no pets means I need to negotiate. I
think $110 (what I paid) is high but don't want to stay in town.
There is a food menu available (by the pool) if you ask for it and Ernesto (or someone) will take an order and get your food in town. Ask if you
don't want to drive. No problem.

For those who don't need a beach resort hotel but rather an overnight highway stop, north of town at Km. 182, west side of highway, is Hotel Sky Blue.
It was highly recommended after I met some guests at a nearby breakfast restaurant.
I had the misfortune to stay at the Hotel Diamante (Km. 185.5) and was surrounded by noisy people (above and next rooms) after I had checked into a
then empty hotel, asked for a quiet room in the rear of the complex, and was about to go to sleep.
