Fideicomiso and Scotiabank

Does anybody have a fideicomiso at Scotiabank and a contact there that answers emails?

My contacts have gone silent.

Sorry, I can`t answer your request but I know that Scotia and Bancomer (maybe others as well?) years ago had managed to make clients to pay those 500 USD and issued the Fideicomiso. BUT the Fido was not registered in MX City. So the money went into some unknown pockets and the Fido was worth no nothing. Guess where the ´Fido went to??? into the papper basket of the bank employee? Which leads to the question: What is the Fido good for? Nobody cares if you don`t have a Fido. It is money making the Mexican way i.m.h.o.

My emails went unanswered last year and I finally connected with this person. Once that happened we received our billing and paid via mail as in prior years. Hope it helps.

O.K., you paid! So far so good.
Do you have any confirmation on hands that your Fido is registered in MX City at the right Government department?
And even if so, what does that mean?

let us know if the information works. Several years ago when the Scotia Bank contacts went silent we tried the name and number given here-- no response. So we just went down to the Scotia bank branch in downtown in La Paz. WE had our folio number and past receipts. They required USD and we had it and they took the money, gave us a receipt. This has worked for two years now.

For the other questions- have the original Fidecomiso, all stamped by local and Federal authorities.

Yes the address amoralesg@scotiabank.com.mx worked. I received a reply the same day with a pdf of my bill attached. I wired the money to their account after asking for and receiving the necessary info to make the wire transfer.
