La Paz Car Rental Recommendations

HI Folks
Trying to decide the best option for our upcoming trip. Flying to La Paz and staying in La Ventana
I'm looking for recommendations for car rental from La Paz. We will be 3 adults and will need it for 4 days. Any firsthand experiences good and/or bad would be appreciated.
If anyone has any Uber Driver phone numbers I would be interested as well. If you don't want to post public you can u2u me.
Thanks

MexRentaCar has an airport location. I haven't rented there but have used this company in two other Mexican towns and had no problems. They usually have a discount code, maybe someone on the Trip Advisor Cabo forum knows about this.

Go direct with the company, don't use a 3rd party.

Ask them about insurance and the required deposit so you aren't surprised. Once I had a company in Loreto require a $2,500 deposit at the airport.

I've had pretty good experiences with Hertz on the malecon in La Paz. They brought it right to our hotel. One was a nice jeep, and the other was a manual shift pickup. Both had 4x4.
