Border crossing

Aloha all, We have to pick up a vessel in Ensenada to transport to USA and will be headed down via hwy either Tecate or Tijuana to do so very soon. Heard the border is technically closed (by US Dept of State) Is this true like it was last January? (Which btw I drove axx w no problem) What is the present border climate of going across by vehicle?
Thanx ahead of time 🌵🌴😎

Southbound no problem. Northbound no problem for US citizens, restrictions on non-citizens.

I crossed going north through Tecate on 3 July. Everyone was wearing masks on the Mexican side of the border. As soon as I got to the US border guard, no one wore a mask. No questions other than had I seen any UFO's? Kinda creeped me out.
