Una Pregunta

I have occasion to communicate by email with a technical group from a variety of different Latin American countries, including Mexico. The Mexicans commonly "sign off" their emails with the salutory term "Abrazos", but the people from every other Central and South American country invariably use the term "Un abrazo". Am I wrong to respond to a Mexican friend with "Un abrazo" en vez de "Abrazos"? Or am I making too much of this? And should I get a life?

Its the same thing Ken, "Abrazos" is simply plurar for hug, meaning lots of hugs, and "un abrazo"is one hug, meaning i am sending you a hug.

If you ask me, the Mexican way seems more plentiful;)
