Well for good and fast chicken there is the place on the main drag, north side. Either Pollo Feliz, or Loco, or Retardo. Hope it`s still there.
And the place at the marina in Puerto Escondido is fine enough.

Heck I'll bite....
Just spent 5 weeks in town and we ate out almost every night.
Many good ones mentioned but I didnt see Buena Vida by the arroyo on Madero going out to Zaragoza, maybe the best mariscos in town but there are so
many.. like El Coloran (next to Augies upstairs), La Palapa San Telmo (on the hiway so of the arroyo by the same name), we love the Clam Shack!. The
brewery El Zopilote has got good food and they just tapped a keg of Azteca imperial stout that is over the top!
Seconds on Orlandos, Mita Gourmet, Los Mandiles (not currently open for dinner) and the Mision Hotel, Mezzaluna, Super Burro and if you're tired of
all that seafood and Mexican food Alma del Sur has an amazing chicken pot pie, BBQ spare ribs or a chicken fried pork chop! Lot's of smaller
neigborhood shops too... our fav is Asadero Yumar up on Juarez past the Pemex.
Good restaurants in Loreto Bay too, so I hear!
So many options and so little time ! Haha! Going back after the holidays to do it again!
BTW - best dorado fishing in 10 years!

While I would not rank it among the "best," I always seem to end up having my morning coffee at an outdoor table at Cafe Ole'.

Isla's for Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles. Down it with some fresh squeezed O.J.

Best chilaquiles and breakfast @ Islas. Ole for anything.
Los Mandiles (down from Mision hotel), or, Mi Loreto (across from cathedral).
US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.
What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

Chilaquiles. Never understood their appeal. One or 2 bites, I’m done.
You can judge a b’fast place on the quality of their fruit platter. If they don’t have one, or it is poor selection of unripe or poor quality
fruit, the other food is not good. Universal truth. Try the test.

Here's why internet forums are stupid. I can't stand fruit platters.. Yet goat and I both use this to determine the best breakfast.
*smh*
Whatever YOU want, does it taste good? Cool.. Let us know. No need to poo-poo certain things. These guys have a great fruit platter! Sweet! These
guys have amazing chilaquilies! Awesome. Chime in with what you like. Keep your negative comments and personal preferences to yourself.
Mi Loreto - Fruit plate was great! huevos rancheros was good. Orlando's, everyone loved it (but sorry... we didn't get a fruit plate to compare
anything to).

Orlando's does great Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner.
San Telmo has incredible seafood!
Santo Cielo became our favorite place recently. They had REAL fresh fish which is always unbeatable. Arrachera steak was unreal! Service went
downhill once they filled up every table the last night we were there but oh well!
Los Mandiles has really great food!, great people too!
I think El Rey del Taco is closed now? Hopefully they will be back soon!
Mezzaluna has some of the best pasta I've ever had!
There are a few restaurants we used to love that seem to have gone downhill, sold, changed management, etc. No longer does 'yes the fish is fresh'
mean anything...even at the nice places...

Tagging onto this convo....we'll be in Loreto over Christmas and would love to find a restaurant that is open (!!) and also has fun, festive, outdoor
vibe that kids might also enjoy (so not a fancy hotel kind of place) maybe Blackbird? La Picazon? Canipole? Thanks!

Domingo, who ran the place for years now owns it.
It's called "Domingo's Place Steakhouse"
