Upcoming Visit

My wife and I have been living in Ecuador for the past six years. We plan to check out Rosarito and Ensenada starting on December 21st, coming accross from San Ysidro on foot. All our kids live in Southern California. We are vaccinated and will have our FMMs ready. We plan to rent a car once we're in Mexico, using our Ecuadorian driver's licenses. We have two nights booked at the Las Rocas Resort and then three or four days at a VRBO in Ensenada. We would appreciate any advice anyone would care to pass along.

Welcome to Baja!

Ensenada is so pretty and has everything you could ever need in terms of stores, restaurants and ocean views.

Off topic but why are you leaving Ecuador? Were you in Quito?

Thanks BajaBlanca,

We spent two years in Cuenca, then two years near La Union, and now two years in the Yunguilla valley near Santa Isabel. So beautiful, all of it, and the people are outstanding. We are nomads, however, and since we move every two years or so anyway, it seemed like a good idea to check out somewhere near the kids. Travel from Ecuador takes a long time.
