What an adventure. She should meet up with Mike Younghusband if she is near Loreto!

Have you read Edie's book?
One tough lady, not expected to live, but walking El Camino Real (Alta then Baja) made her strong to beat the cancer!

That book is on my list. Do you know if it is available in audio book format? I would love to read it when I start my PCT hike next week. If not, it will have to wait until I return because it's too heavy to pack.

That's what I did was sign up for a trial. I will use it while I'm hiking and probably cancel when I get back home. I find it's a nice change from music at night while chilling in my tent or helps the miles go by on some of the big climbs.

I messaged Edie last night about an audio version of her book and this was her reply: It's available in all formats on Amazon, and at many libraries, too. https://www.amazon.com/Mission-Walker-given-three-months/dp/...

Edie just learned about the Baja Expo (Free Event this Saturday, Noon to 5, Humphrey's by the Bay, San Diego's Shelter Island) and wants to be there with her book and posters.
