Looking for moving company
Hi Folks, a friend of mine wants to leave Baja. Now he is looking for a moving company which can move his entire household from the Loreto Area to
Long Beach / CA. Very obviously moving companies are willing to ship everything from NOB to Baja. But the other way around seems to be very difficult
I can imagine. Who is moving from Baja Up-North? Obviously no Mexican. So those moving companies don´t have the equipment for furniture hauling.
Anybody who knows anything would be appreciated.

I don’t know of anyone, and in my experience the N to S movers don’t respond to inquiries for S to N. I would also like to ship some bulky
items, Loreto to San Diego. Would be interested in sharing a truck with your friend if we can find someone.

My brother and and another friend have both used Geoff, U.S. Border Movers. He is going to move a couch down to Southern Baja for me soon. They both

Funny none of these movers mention moving from Mexico to the USA only north to south.

YMMV.
This company moves everywhere.
Some people rave about them, others rave not, at times.
They just moved a client of mine from TX to SMA and it was almost seamless.

The US has a significant trade deficit with Mexico. It is probably a lot easier to find a truck needing a load headed south, compared to northbound
traffic.
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

Retirees move south, and Perhaps most make final return trip northbound in coffins or urns.
Woke!
